Holy Week Greetings!

Maundy Thursday worship is at 7 p.m. On "the night He was betrayed" He gave
us a wonderful gift. We savor it and experience it together.

Good Friday worship is at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. We gather at the cross...what
more needs be said?

Easter: 7:00, 9:15, & 11:00. Cards are still available to invite folks
with. Breakfast between services. (Attention: Louise ("Super Servant")
Robinson still needs help! Could you assist with the cooking between 7 & 10
anytime?? Call her at 503.654.6420!) Parking is available just above the
upper parking lot, thanks to Tim ("Earth Mover") Venzke. Feel free to use
it. Be praying for God to work in a mighty way among us Sunday.

Wanna get ready for the above sacred worship services? Just get out your
Bible and prayerfully read the last few chapters of any (or all) of the four
Gospels.

Also:
*	Don't forget to sign up for the Prayer Vigil. (15 minute increments,
April 16-17)
*	Pastor Dan will be leading a Purpose Driven Life Class on the
Sundays after Easter, but...you'll need to enroll if you want to get in.
Indicate on Sunday's worship card. (You can bring your own book or purchase
one here.)
*	New Wednesday Adult Classes after Easter will include:
Disappointment with God; Hobnobbing with the Apostles (Creed); 1 & 2 Samuel;
Women's Discipler Study; DivorceCare; and Moms Group.

Ponder this:

"When we try to understand the cross, whatever we say, there is still
something left out. No insight, theory, theological viewpoint, isolated
Scripture, or idea captures all the dimensions of the magnificent truth
revealed in the cross. It is like a diamond held aloft. As you turn it,
light flashes from its many facets. That is what we must do with the cross:
turn it over in our minds and hearts and allow the many-sided truth to
penetrate our thinking and character. No single doctrine of the cross is
sufficient to hold all the truth." -- Lloyd Ogilvie in God's Best for My
Life

At the cross,
Pastor Mark
