Hello Church Fam!
"We may ignore, but we can nowhere evade, the presence of God. The world is
crowded with Him. He walks everywhere incognito." - C. S. Lewis in Letters
to Malcolm
Here are next Sunday's readings, worth checking out to prepare your heart...
* Hosea 6.4-6
* 2 Timothy 3.10-12
* Acts 7.54-8.4
Tomorrow night is our last Wednesday evening class before Lent and Ash

that night, followed by worship with imposition of ashes and Holy Communion.
(That's next week, not tomorrow!)
Upcoming......
* Blood Drive next Tuesday
* Stephen Ministry Christian Caring Workshop Saturday, the 28th
* Women's Retreat March 12-14
New Growth Opportunities for Adults start up on Sunday, February 29th:
* Faith 101

* Effective Parenting in a Defective World
* Galatians: Finding Freedom
* How to Make God's House a Home
* Seeking God's Face
I'll provide more info about each of those next week. Just thought you'd
like to see what's coming up.

I love the Psalms! I came across this observation about them that I'd like
to pass along...
"There is no literature in all the world that is more true to life and more
honest than the Psalms, for here we have warts-and-all religion. Every
skeptical thought, every disappointing venture, every pain, every despair
that we can face is lived through and integrated into a personal, saving
relationship with God, which relationship also has in it acts of praise,
blessing, peace, security, trust and love." - E.H. Peterson in A Long
Obedience in the Same Direction
Shalom,
Pastor Mark
