WARM Greetings in Jesus' name!

Here are the Sunday readings, as we continue focusing on prayer:

*	1 Cor. 4:7
*	John 15:5-8, 15-16

Wish you didn't have to wait so long until the next Holy Communion? You're
in luck! The Board of Elders has authorized that Communion will be made
available on the 3rd Sundays of the month during summer. Where and when?
10:45 am this Sunday in Fellowship B. Pastor Phil DiGregorio will be
leading these. "Is not the cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks a
participation in the blood of Christ? And is not the bread that we break a
participation in the body of Christ?" - 1 Cor. 10:16

I've heard some good reports about the Mexico Mission. Let's continue to
remember them in prayer as they do their loving work and as they travel back
home.

A little something for your heart:

"If the worth of our prayer life depended upon the maintenance of a constant
high level of feeling or understanding, we would be in a dangerous place.
Though these often seem to fail us, the reigning will remains. Even when
our heart is cold and our mind is dim, prayer is still possible to us. 'Our
wills are ours, to make them Thine.' The determined fixing of our will upon
God, and pressing toward Him steadily and without deflection; this is the
very center and the art of prayer." - Evelyn Underhill

Yours and His,
Pastor Mark
