The following is an update regarding Diane Roluffs who has taken seriously
ill.  The update is from her daughter, Suzy Venzke.

Cat scans have been done to rule out stroke, ruptured appendix,
diverticulitis, and perforated ulcer. So far all scans have come back
negative. Sunday morning the doctor indicated her white count was very high
indicating an infection. They are now doing blood work to find out where the
infection is coming from. She also has pneumonia issues. She is still
critical and mostly unresponsive, however, she has opened her eyes and tried
to speak a few times today, but does not stay awake for more than a few
seconds. We do feel after being with her today that she does know us and she
understands where she is. 
In order to free up the ICU nurse for hospital duties, we ask that you call
the church office for updates on Diane rather than calling the hospital. We
will contact the BSLC office when we receive any new information from her
doctors. Also, we were told today that only immediate family is allowed in
ICU and they seem to be adhering to that rule very closely. Several people
came today and were not allowed in, so visits at this time would probably
not be a good idea. 
Thank you for all your prayers and words of concern and comfort on behalf of
Diane and our family. We have placed her in God's hands, which is the best
place for her to be right now and all the time.
