 Here's a new line-up of Fall music programs at Donn Bennett Drum Studio in Bellevue. We have some old favorites as well as our new Jazz Rhythm Section Lab. We're enrolling now. Space is limited in all classes. Check it out. Join the fun!!

Drummer's Crash(Boom, Bang)Course. 
Monthly, Tuesdays, All Ages, Beginners, New class starts on the first Tuesday of each month. 6:00 to 6:45 PM. $65.00
 This 4 week program taught by Donn Bennett will get you on the fast track to playing the drums. Participants will learn to play beats and fills on the full drumset while developing fundamental drumming skills. Learn proper grip and stroke, basic reading and counting, metronome skills and drum rudiments applied to the drumset. Play along with recordings. Equal parts fun and learning. Limit to 6 participants. No experience necessary. Limit, 6 participants.

Jazz Rhythm Section Lab. 
Saturdays, 9/10 to 10/29, 8 sessions including performance.  Noon to 1:30, $300.00.
Open to all rhythm section players. Drums, keys, guitar, bass and mallets. Intermediate to advanced. Led by Drummer/Percussionist Brian Kirk M.A.(The Pointer Sisters) and Bassist Don Monares.
 The Jazz Ensemble is a performing group and classroom improvisation workshop for rhythm section players. Students will receive group instruction in jazz performance and improvisation. Emphasis is on development of playing jazz in a small combo setting. Students will receive instruction in areas including, time development, soloing, chart reading, ear training and more.
 The 8 session course culminates with a live performance in our theater. Limited to 10 participants.

ROCK BAND CLASS 101 AND 201.
Thursdays, 9/8 to 10/27, 8 sessions including performance. 7:00 to 8:30 PM. or
Sundays, 9/11 to 10/31. 8 sessions including performance. 90 minute sessions available from Noon to 5:00 PM (we'll place students in groups of similar abilities, call to schedule). $300.00.
 So you wanna be a ROCKSTAR?" Learn how to play in a rock band with instructors Chase Culp  and Eric Snyder. In these classes students will learn students learn about topics including:
- How to rehearse
- Listening
- Song arrangement
- Current and classic hits
- Song composition
- Improvisation and soloing
- Performance skills ( a live show for your family and friends)
- How to work with others

All classes will be held at Donn Bennett Drum Studio. The room is equipped with a full PA, stage, guitar/bass amps, keyboards and a drumset. Students will only need to bring their own guitar/bass, tuner, cables, and sticks. All students will be provided with a notebook containing guitar/bass tabs, drum transcriptions, practice CD, and other music related materials.
