Woodstick Update, Ringo Starr, More!!

 Woodstick 2006 is less than 5 weeks away. Lots happening at Donn Bennett Drum Studio in Bellevue. We've confirmed most of our guest drummers and added some really amazing prizes. READ ON!!

 Jason McGerr of Death Cab for Cutie has just been added to our roster of celebrity drummers. We have a few other very big names that we should be able to confirm any day.

 Ringo Starr  will not be able to participate this year.  We'll try him again next year. He did however send us an Autographed Beatles Bass Drum Head. We also received snare drums from the Craviotto Drum Company, and Thumper Custom Drums. All of these items will be raffled off on the day of the event. See photos on the website.

Help Promote Woodstick. We want to make this years event the biggest and best ever. Please help us spread the word to all your drumming friends. There's also a press release on our website. Please forward to any of your media contacts. 

 Electric Drumsets at Woodstick ? No Problem. We'll have a section set up for you electronic guys to plug in and crank up.

 FREE Drum Class Would you like to participate in Woodstick but don't play the drums? We holding a FREE group class on Saturday April 29. You'll learn to play a basic rock beat and fill. Everything you need to know to participate. We supply the drums. Limited to 20 people. The class is free but you must register in advance.

 Woodstick Pre-Registration. We strongly encourage all participants to pre-register. It will make it easier for everyone involved and get you into the event much quicker on the day of the event. There are 3 ways to register. You can print out a registration form at www.bennettdrums.com then mail it in with your registration fee. You can call us at 425-747-6145 or come in to the shop and do it in person. However you do it I encourage you to do so ASAP.

 Pledge Raising. We strongly encourage all participants to raise pledges just like you would in a Walk-a-thon. Participants that raise $50.00 or more will get their registration fee refunded on the day of the event. We have over $10,000.00 in prizes this year for top pledge raisers.

 10th Anniversary Drum Swap and Sale June 2,3 + 4. This June well celebrate our tenth anniversary. We're celebrating with a huge 3 day event. All of our Woodstick sponsors have made us special deals to pass on to you. We'll have lots of items that will get slightly used at Woodstick that we'll be blowing out at unheard of prices. Bring your own used drum gear to sell or trade in a huge tent in our parking lot. We'll have guest celebrity drummers doing clinics and much more.
