Woodstick Drum Event, Free drums for your school.

Band Directors,

 I'm contacting you about our 5th annual Woodstick drumming event and a way
for your students to earn free drum equipment for your school. 

 Woodstick is the world's largest gathering of drummers playing drumsets. It
will be held on Saturday, October 27th at the Puyallup fairgrounds
(indoors). We currently hold a Guinness world record for 533 drummers
playing simultaneously. This drumming event raises money for charities and
helps develop our local drumming community. This year we are raising funds
to research hearing regeneration, promote hearing safety and purchase drum
equipment for local schools.

 

 The schools that bring the most drummers are eligible to receive thousands
of dollars worth of drum equipment.

 

Here's what you do.

 


 -Invite every drummer you know to attend. This includes current students,
alumni, friends and family. When they register have them list your school on
their registration form. The schools that bring the most drummers will
receive free drum equipment. Last year we donated over $7,000.00 in drum
equipment to the top 10 participating schools.

 

 The event is also an excellent musical experience for any drummer. They
will learn to play under a director in a mass band, see performances by some
of the world's top drummers and become part of the local drumming community.
