Donn Bennett Drum Studios and Drum Workshop Presents:The Timbre Tree Tour: The Art Of Drum Making with Billy Ward. 

In this master class Billy will cover topics ranging from wood types, drum sizes and timbre matching to setting up your kit to fit your body,using different colors in your drumming and more. Billy is a fantastic teacher and drummer who has played with many great musicians including Joan Osborne, Ace Frehely  Richard Marx and Yoko Ono,not to mention a legendary six hour drummer lesson from Elvin Jones. There will be 60 spaces for this clinic. Tickets can be purchased in advance or on the day of show at Donn Bennett Drum Studios. Sorry, we will not be offering online or phone-in orders for tickets to this event.


In other news, we still have plenty of spaces for drummers of all ages who would like to participate in this summer's Drum Set Camp. This week-long class will focus on topics including drumset history, musicianship, technique, grooves, double-bass drumming and more. We have many great guest instructors who will be stopping by to teach including Ben Smith (HEART/Studio drummer) and Wade Reeves (DBDS Teacher and Studio Engineer) along with Billy Ward(Joan Osborne, BB King,Yoko Ono). Billy will be teaching a private 90minute master class for all the students. 
Drum Set Camp is not to be missed, you will definitely leave inspired and ready to take your drumming to a whole new level...Call or email to register for the class before it fills up!  Camp runs from July 10th- 14th, 10:00AM- 4:00PM $285

Guitar and bass players are needed for Rock Band Camp 101, taking place July 17th -21st. This is a very hands-on camp that will teach students about rhythm sections, dynamics, soloing and the basics of starting a band. There will be a performance for family and friends at the end the camp along with guest artists TBA. The camp is taught by Eric Snyder and Chase Culp and costs $300.00
