DRUMMERS!!
 Woodstick 2006 is just 4 Days Away!! Here's a few updates. 

 Last year me missed setting a new Guinness World Record by just 25 drummers. It would be a shame to get that close again and not break the record. If you have not made plans to participate this year PLEASE do whatever you can do to take part. We really need every one of you. The amazing event is a lot of fun and helps support 2 extremely worthy causes; Music in our Schools and Homeless families with children.
This will probably be the last email before the event. Watch the www.bennettdrums.com website for any late breaking news.

REGISTRATION: If you have not yet registered for Woodstick 2006 you will be able to do so at the door. Please do not mail in any registrations at this time. Gold and Platinum packages are all sold out. There will be plenty of  general admission spaces available on the day of show.

LOAD IN and PARKING: FREE PARKING for all participants. You can drive right into the event center to load in your drums until 1:30 PM. 

WOODSTICK STORE HOURS: Donn Bennett Drum Studio will be open for just 2 hours on Saturday May 13th from 10:00AM to Noon. We will be closed for the remainder of the day to staff the Woodstick Drum Event. We will re-open on Monday May 15 at 10:30 AM.

WOODSTICK DRUMMERS HANG: The annual, Night Before Woodstick Drummers Hang will be held at Legend's in West Seattle http://www.legendbar.com/ . The event is hosted by Smoke and his All-Star Band. Music starts at 9:00 PM. Come sit in with the band or just loosen up before the big day. There will be prizes and giveaways. Sorry, you must be 21 or over. 

WOODSTICK SONGS:  Here are some of the songs we'll play at Woodstick. Don't worry if you don't know the songs perfectly. All you need to do is to be able to keep the basic beat.

FREE SOUNDERS SOCCER GAME: All Woodstick participants may attend the SOUNDERS home season opening game at 7:00 PM at Qwest Field for NO CHARGE. You can also park for FREE in the Qwest Field Garage.
