 Here's our first class of the New Year featuring Garey Williams. Garey will
teach a class on fusion drumming styles on Saturday January 5th from 2-4:00
at Donn Bennett Drum Studio in Bellevue. This class is open to drummers,
guitarists and bassists of all levels. The class will include a special live
performance by his band Ecstasy In Numbers. Gary is a well known drummer
from the Seattle area who has gained international attention for his playing
and teaching. We're very happy to have him and look forward to seeing you
there. I've included more about Garey, Ecstasy In Numbers and his class
below.

 

 My band Free Rain will be playing a New Years party at Sassy's at the Best
Western in Marysville.  Admission is $15.00 for the whole night or $49.00
for the dinner package. All the details are below. This is shaping up to be
a great party. We'll have some surprise guests and all the usual craziness
that goes with any Free Rain show. I really hope you can come. See

Seattle based Ecstasy In Numbers has been recording and performing together
since 1998. In that time, the band members (Mike Mattingly - Guitar, Rick
White - Bass and Garey Williams - Drums) have steadily built up a following
in the Seattle and Northwest scene. Their progressive jazz/rock sound has
been gaining the attention of clubs and promoters, as well as the ears of a
small but growing European audience.
