LOUIEFEST 2007, 8/18+19.

 This 2 day event is basically like Woodstick except with guitars. They hope
to assemble over 1,000 guitar players to play Louie Louie for a new world
record. The event includes over 40 live bands, a car show and performances
throughout the weekend. The event raises money to support music education
for kids. We'll have a booth there. Please stop by and say hello. Check it

POWERCHORD ACHADEMY needs 5 drummers!! 

 The Power Chord Academy is a week long rock band camp on the University of
Washington campus. They have 2 sessions offered this summer. They have made
a special offer to Donn Bennett Drum Studio customers. They will give any of
our drummers a $595.00 scholarship towards tuition PLUS a $200.00 gift
certificate at Donn Bennett Drum Studio for any gear of your choice. There
is only room for 5 drummers. Sessions begin this July 22 and July 29. For

WOODSTICK 2007, 10/27 inside the Pavilion Showplex on the Puyallup
Fairgrounds.

This will be our 5th annual Woodstick event. We hope to break our current
Guinness World record of 533 drummers playing drumsets simultaneously. We're
still lining up this years artists but be assured there will be some major
