 Here’s one for Buddy Rich fans!! 

 

Donny Osborne will be at Donn Bennett Drum Studio in Bellevue on Saturday
11/18 for a day of private instruction and a clinic.

In the big band world Donny is one of the most well respected drummers ever.
He played with Mel Torme for 25 years. He was one of a very small number of
drummers that Buddy Rich ever allowed to sit in with his band. What makes
Donny stand out among these drummers is the fact that he began sitting in
with Buddy’s band at the age of 13!! 

 

Donny will be playing a set of DW’s new Buddy Rich, Classic series drums.
These drums are built with mahogany shells with maple reinforcing rings like
the old Radio King drums that drummers like Buddy Rich and Gene Krupa made
famous. Donny will also play a set of prototype SABIAN cymbals designed
exclusively for Donn Bennett Drum Studio. These cymbals are exact replicas
those used by one of the most famous big band drummers of all time.

The drums and cymbals will be available for sale at Donn Bennett Drum
Studio.
