Auditions require a 30 sec-1 min self prepared solo, some sight reading and
an interview.

 

Minimum age is 21, since we perform in bars on gameday.

 

Blue Thunder's season starts the week following auditions and rehearses on
weekend days for 4 hours.  A schedule will be available for viewing while
people wait for their audition.  The commitment is serious, weekly
rehearsals on Sat from April-Aug; switching to Sun from Sept-Jan.  Gig
requests come in for all hours, all days of the week.

OLD FIRE HOUSE BATTLE OF THE BANDS

Play your favorite Classic Rock tunes while entering in to win some super
fantastic prizes.... Including: Time in the world famous Old Fire House
recording studio, vintage instruments and gear and gift certificates for
local music stores.

Deadline for entry is March 19th......Only 2 weeks!!!

It is not necessary to have a classic rock song for entry just make sure the
CD you enter has all the same players that are entering in the competition
and let us know what classic rock song you would like to cover.

Featuring music written from 1950-1990

A majority of your band members should be in between the ages of 14-21years.

Semi finals will be held Friday April 6, 2007 at OFH

Finals will be held Friday April 20, 2007 at OFH
