Jim Riley Drum Clinic, Rascal Flats 4/7

Drummers!!

 Here's a first for us here at Donn Bennett Drum Studio in Bellevue. We've
hosted many drum clinics over the years but we've never done a clinic with a
country music drummer. When Jim Riley from Rascal Flats called to say he was
coming to town we jumped on the opportunity. Jim Riley will present a clinic
at Donn Bennett Drum Studio in Bellevue, WA on Monday April 7th at 7:00 pm. 

 Jim is in the middle of his 9th year as drummer and musical director for
multi-platinum country artists Rascal Flats. He's studied with legendary
teachers like Arthur Press and Ed Soph. He attended North Texas University
where he performed with their jazz band, orchestra, percussion ensemble and
their drumline. The drum line won 5 national championships while Jim was a
member. In addition to his work with Rascal flats Jim is in constant demand
in Nashville, his current hometown.

 Jim and the boys will be playing a sold out show at the Tacoma Dome and was
willing to come to stay in town for a couple days early so he could do a
clinic with us. 

Jim plays Ludwig drums, Sabian cymbals and Remo drumheads. All of these
companies have sent along some special items for door prizes.
