[Stmonicaparent-list] Great volunteer opportunity

Dear School Families,

 

     The St. Monica Phone-a-thon will be taking place on Feb. 6th and 7th,
from 6:00 - 9:00 each night. The monies raised during the phone a thon are
critical for the success of our school. This money directly benefits the
schools bottom line.

 

    I have chaired this event for the past five years and am looking to find
a volunteer who will help me this year and hopefully chair it next. Before
you say you could never call people and ask for money that is NOT part of
the chair person's job. There is no phone calling involved. It is a great
opportunity to meet lots of parents and the two evenings of the phone-a-thon
are fun and exciting. The best benefit is all of your fundraising volunteer
hours are done in a short time period.
