Hi all,

If you missed Bruce Brown's presentation Tuesday evening, "Parents' Role in

His tips are applicable to not only sports but any activity in which your
child is participating or passionate - theater, music, scouts, etc.

 

Mark your calendars for:

1.  The Overachievers, Secret Lives of Driven Kids:  Nov. 6, 7pm, MIHS.

This presentation will launch a community wide "conversation" around how
help kids balance their many interests, concerns about building "resumes"
for college and their time.

2.  Your Child:  The Parenting Manual:  Nov. 14, 7pm, Island Park Elementary
Multi Purpose Room, 5437 Island Crest Way.  First in a 3 part series by
Barbara Swenson on life skills milestones to help your children achieve
during ages 5-11.
