Dear families

Parent Club is in need of volunteers for the following positions:
Treasurer, Science Kit Coordinator and Yearbook Advisor.  Please consider
volunteering for one of these important positions for the next school year.


 

None of the positions require that you have been at St. Monica for any
length of time, or have been active in Parent Club meetings.  

 

Treasurer - This position maintains our bank account using Quick Books
software.  The treasurer deposits fundraising and hot lunch money, and pays
related bills.  Prepares the budget and balances the account monthly.
Bookkeeping experience is helpful, but more important is being able to do
the job in a timely fashion.   

           

Yearbook Advisor:  This person coordinates the yearbook and can work with
Lifetouch to create it.  This person usually works with some 8th grade
students in the creation of the yearbook.  No experience necessary!

 

Science Kit Coordinator:  Manages the distribution of the science kits, and
keeps the kits re-supplied.  This is usually done during school hours about
once a week.  Our current coordinator has simplified the process with aid of
a computer spreadsheet and will train the new coordinator in its use.
