[Stmonicaparent-list] Family Night Auction Volunteer Opportunity

The Family Night Auction committee needs help in two different ways as the
auction date draws near. Please see below for details and consider helping
out if you can; any hours contributed to these efforts will count towards
your fundraising hours commitment for the year (both of these are great
opportunities for families who may have younger children at home).

 

1)  If you'd like to lend a hand with auction set-up on Wednesday, November
7th, several school moms have volunteered to provide "Sibling Help" from
8:30am-2:30pm.  These moms will watch and entertain your kids in the Family
Center, which is adjacent to the gym where setup will be taking place, so
that you can lend a hand with auction set-up.  If you'd like to take
advantage of their generous offer or have questions, please contact any one

2) We are in need of volunteers to provide food for the Family Night set-up
volunteers on Wednesday, November 7th.  The bulk of the volunteers who are
helping with setup will be in the gym from 8:30am-3pm on Wednesday, November
7th.  We anticipate a number of folks who will drop in and work for as long
as they can, and a small core who will be there for most of the day.  We are
looking for donations of a few snack-type foods and some beverages, but more
importantly, something heartier for some noon-time nourishment.  If you are
