Thank you St. Monica for your immediate and generous clothing and household
donations to Katharine's Place!  

 

The families were so grateful with smiles, laughter and numerous thank
you's!   Every single item went directly into the hands of the neediest
families.   

 

The quality of donations truly reflected your compassion.  With only a few
days' notice, six truck loads were delivered this week. Thank you all for
your most heartfelt kindness!

 

We heard many pleas to do it again and offerings of help.  We will do it
again and you'll have opportunity to donate and help those poor families in
other specific ways.

 

Currently the families are not receiving Thanksgiving dinners. Please
consider food donations and/or Scrip to create gift baskets.  Any help is
appreciated!  A donation box is set up through Scrip (M,W, F 8:30 - 9:30 am
inside the school) for either money contributions no matter how small, or
scrip cards to contribute to this immediate need.  A "Katharine's Place"
basket for food/donations will be located by the St. Francis box outside the
gym for donations also.   

 

Please contribute to all food drives through St. Monica's as each one is
vital and help live Christ's message of compassion and love.
