Dear St. Monica School Families,

Catholic Community Services through the Seattle Archdiocese, houses some
very poor children and families.  Some of the children are blessed to
receive Catholic education through charity ~ a most precious and
unparalleled gift.

 

But they still live in poverty and need.  Many have inadequate beds and
clothing and are hungry.

 

For those who might have extra clothing or extra anything; we will pick up
items in the family center on Monday and Tuesday of next week (November 5th
and 6th) for at least 1 hour after school.  Winter items would be most
appreciated.  We'll deliver them asap to these homes which include
Katherine's Place, Seattle.  We've met some of the families who literally
cried at the idea of receiving help.  They have very little.

 

A flyer is in Wednesday's packet.  Your generosity will be so greatly
appreciated.  Items not used by the families at Katherine's Place will be
delivered to families at other CCS homes.
