Altar Server Training

Altar serving is a Ministry open to all children of the parish, 5th grade
and above.  Our servers have a reputation for great reverence and commitment
to supporting the Sacred Liturgy. Completion of a multi-day training session
is an important, initial part of preparing to serve well.  

There are currently two options for training sessions this year. Each
session will be open to the first 10 registrants. Training will be held, in
the Church, during the following days & times:

 

Session 1: February 12th -15th 4:00-5:00pm

Open to All.  Four consecutive days, after school.

 

Session 2: March 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd  8:30-9:30am

Open to All. Four consecutive Saturdays in March, following the 8am Mass.

 

To Register:

1)      Talk with your parents about whether serving is a commitment that
you can make [servers are scheduled to serve several Sunday liturgies and
several weekday (8am) liturgies each quarter]

2)      Determine which training session works best for you. You will be
required to attend each day of the training.

3)      Email Mike Bucy at MBucy at microsoft.com to sign up for a training
session.
