Dear St. Monica School Families,

 

This morning Mercer Island High School received a bomb threat and the school
went into "lock-out" mode. The students were not let into the building and
were dismissed. The Mercer Island police department informed us immediately
and told us to be on alert, but to conduct business as usual at our school.
There was no need for us to do anything else. I wanted to assure you that we
have safety procedures in place should any be necessary. The safety of your
children is our number one priority!
