Dear St. Monica School Parents,

 

God has blessed us with children; and he has called us to protect them. As
Catholics, we believe parents are the first and primary teachers of their
children. As you have read in recent school newsletters the Archdiocese is
offering an educational program, Called to Protect for Parents and Families.
This program will teach parents tools and tactics they can use to keep
children safe.

 

Called to Protect  will teach you:

-How to discuss sexual abuse with your children;

-Sudden changes to look for that may indicate your child has been abused;

-Specific boundaries and rules you can teach your kids so that they can
protect themselves when you are not with them.

 

Date: Wednesday, May 14

Time: 7-8:30 PM

Location: St. Monica School Library

Length of session: 1.5 hours

"Register for Classes."

 

This is not a mandatory program, but it is highly recommended.
